Add symbiotic gems:
Every gemstone has a symbiotic gem partner that can enhance, support, and/or catalyze the beneficial effects of your therapeutic-quality gems.
Symbiotic gems also bring the influence of the yin and yang to your necklace, with the primary gemstone representing yang and the symbiote representing yin. When you wear the necklace, it will help to balance yin and yang within your body and being.
Add a clasp:
Every truly therapeutic necklace should have a clasp.
Clasps allow your necklaces to “breathe.” As soon as you open them, excess energies can easily flow off of them, reducing the amount of cleansing required.
Plus, you can store your necklaces in a circle or spiral shape, so they can self-regenerate their energies.
Furthermore, when your necklaces are unclasped, you have more ways available to apply them therapeutically other than simply wearing them. Opened necklaces can be draped across the body or mounted on a therapy wand.
Replace box clasps with circular, oval, or infinity clasps:
The shape of a clasp affects the flow of energy around your necklace. Ideally, that flow should move freely around a therapeutic necklace when you wear it. Square and rectangular clasps stop energy flow because these shapes support grounding and stability. Circular or oval-shaped clasps keep the energy flowing smoothly between the gemstones. Clasps in the shape of an infinity sign (sideways figure-8) gently accelerate the flow of energy.
In most cases you can choose the type of clasp you’d like to use. Wood button clasps, which are circular, are the most affordable. They can be used on all necklaces, even delicate ones made of precious gemstones, as well as those made of gemstones that are incompatible with metal.
Some gemstones are more compatible with white gold rather than yellow gold. Infinity clasps are available in 14K yellow gold, and oval lobster clasps with trigger openers are available in 14K white gold.
If your necklace has a box-shaped clasp, we will return it to you after replacing it with a therapeutic-quality clasp. If your necklace already has a circular or oval-shaped clasp, we can use it if you’d like.
Replace stretchy, easily-breakable silk thread with stronger nylon cord:
Because silk is a natural substance, I always felt it was a preferable threading material. Then I learned that silk is comprised of animal protein, which carries a powerful signature that can be conflicting for very sensitive people. In contrast, nylon consists of few molecules linked together in relatively long chains, which are energetically benign.
Knot your necklace in ways that are numerologically sensible:
The numerical sequence of gemstones in a necklace makes a difference in the overall harmony of the necklace, its therapeutic effectiveness, and its healing potential. We are continually learning more about gemstones and numerology. Your necklaces will be knotted and sequenced based on our most recent understanding.
Most semi-precious gemstone spheres are strung with a knot between each bead. This numerical influence of “one” allows the necklace’s energies a great deal of latitude and freedom to work wherever they are needed.
Rondel-shaped gemstones prefer to be grouped. Here, numerology plays an important role. The number of beads between each knot should support the work of the gemstones. Necklaces that have knots in irregular sequences can have an underlying disharmonious influence. With irregular knotting, you may have a beautiful therapeutic-quality necklace, but for some reason it just doesn’t “feel right.”
In complex designs, such as the Ruby-White Beryl, Emerald-White Beryl, Blue Sapphire-White Beryl, and Yellow Sapphire-White Beryl, knots are used to separate the sequences of precious gems from the sequences of White Beryl so that the effects of each gemstone are distinct, while also working together as an organic whole.
Your therapeutic-quality necklaces will be strung here in America:
We do not ship our necklaces to Asia for restringing. This supports our economy and allows us to maintain closer quality control. It also reduces the risks involved with overseas shipping. How to Go About Upgrading Your Necklaces
Your completed, upgraded necklaces will be cleansed with the GEMFormulas' Energy Clearing, EMR (electromagnetic radiation) Clearing, and Diamond Rejuvenation Sprays.
However, we do appreciate it if you cleanse your gemstones in some way before you mail them to us. Thank you!
1. Review the Upgrade Chart to determine which necklaces can be upgraded, what gemstones you’ll need, and what clasp you’d like to choose.
- Your name, address, email, and phone number.
- The approximate size of the symbiotic gems you’d like to add.
- The type of clasp you’d like to add.**
When we receive your package we will inspect each necklace, and pair it with the most appropriate symbiotic gemstones, within any size parameters you may give us.
We will write up an invoice and email it to you. If you’re satisfied, let us know. We’ll arrange for payment and then give your gemstones to our stringers.
Please also include your desire for the approximate length of the completed necklace. When adding White Beryl, you can convert a short, solid necklace into a much longer necklace. For example, a 16” Ruby can be upgraded to a 22” Ruby-White Beryl necklace, with enough extra Ruby to make either another necklace or a therapy strand.
When we receive your Ruby, Emerald, Blue Sapphire, or Yellow Sapphire necklace, we will temporarily restring the gemstones with White Beryl of the appropriate size. (We then give this temporary design to the stringer who will professionally rethread it.) This lets us determine how much White Beryl is required to make a necklace of your desired length.
Presently, we offer our upgrade service only on those gemstones for which we know their symbiotic partners. However we would be happy to restring any necklace for you.
We reserve the right not to upgrade with symbiotic gemstones any necklace whose quality does not meet our standards.
